About Me

Hi, I’m Micheal Ohse, the founder of Barrier Island Strength and a Certified Personal Trainer through the International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA). I specialize in helping people transform their bodies, gain strength, and build sustainable, healthy habits that last a lifetime.

 

My fitness journey started with a passion for movement and the desire to push my limits. Over the years, I’ve dedicated myself to understanding the science behind fat loss, muscle building, and functional strength, so I can guide my clients through safe, effective, and personalized programs.

 

At Barrier Island Strength, every program is tailored to YOU. Whether your goal is to lose weight, build muscle, increase athletic performance, or simply feel stronger and healthier, I design strategies that fit your lifestyle, body type, and goals. I combine proven training techniques with practical nutrition guidance to help you see results faster—and keep them long-term.

 

I’m also continuing my education in advanced strength training and nutrition because I believe in bringing the most up-to-date knowledge to my clients. Even though I’m not yet certified as a nutritionist or strength coach beyond my ISSA certification, I’m actively working toward those credentials to provide a complete approach to fitness.
